We utilize a variety of tools during your pet's rehabilitation session. We use electrical stimulation, class IV laser therapy, massage therapy, joint mobilizations, in house therapeutic exercises, at home exercises, and the underwater treadmill to accomplish our rehabilitation goals. All of our veterinarians and technicians who work in the rehab department are certified canine rehab therapists. This specialized training gives them insight into injuries that a regular veterinarian may not have. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of patient care, therefore we operate on a drop off basis. Pets stay with us for the day, this allows us to give them the best care possible by giving them multiple breaks throughout the day. Acupuncture is another service we offer. It helps stimulate the body's natural healing processes. It helps energy flow through the body better. It can be used to help treat a variety of conditions including but not limited to arthritis, allergies, endocrine diseases, renal disease, anxiety, and urinary and f***l incontinence. When we receive referrals from other hospitals, the pets need to be current on rabies, distemper, bordetella, influenza vaccines, and stool checks at their regular veterinarians. We strive to make the process as convenient as possible for everyone involved.

April is

As it gets warmer out, it’s important to keep your pet properly active. We offer a Fit Club program for weight loss, orthopedic surgical recovery, sports competition maintenance, and more!

According to some studies ~59% of dogs in the US are considered obese. Some of the most common risks of obesity in dogs is concerns for arthritis, joint issues, injury. As well as other increased health issues for some breeds specifically.

Physical activity will help with a weight loss plan along with updated dietary changes. Low-impact exercises like walking or swimming will help your dog lose weight while maintaining muscle mass and joint mobility. Just like people, if your dog hasn’t been physically active for some time, they must slowly acclimate to conditioning their body to avoid injuries. Contact us today to schedule a consultation this month.
