Happy International Self Care Day! π
These ladies have joined me all summer (a few are missing) for early morning classes and I couldnβt be more grateful!
There truly is no other way Iβd rather start my morning. Move your body. Stretch. Breathe. Set intentions. Immerse yourself in community. Smile. Feel well. Feel at peace. And then, bring that feeling with you throughout your day.
Some may say, thatβs where the real yoga practice begins. Going to a yoga class will not guarantee an amazing day, but over time, it will remind you to come back to that feeling of peace, off the mat, in the midst of chaos, and youβll remember to breathe.
When we focus on the breath, we can start to change our thought patterns, and when we change our thoughts, our mood begins to shift, and when our mood shifts, our conversations shift, and then our relationships change.
Itβs a wonderful domino effect ultimately changing the world, one breath at a time. Thatβs why I opened Sway Yoga! Remember your self care! Itβs more important than you think! π«
