I’ll be guiding a forest bathing experience for LGBTQAI+ folks and their friends in Central Connecticut on Saturday, May 18 in support of two awesome organizations: Trans Lifeline and the Trans Youth Equality Foundation. (Register or message us for location details.)

As a mindfulness practice, Forest Bathing can provide LGBTQAI+ folks a refuge to connect authentically with nature and themselves. And the forest, with its vast web of interconnected organisms, can teach us a lot about how to embrace what makes us unique and affirm the importance of building resilient and nurturing communities.

Tickets range from $15 - $30, with 50% or more of the proceeds donated to Trans Lifeline and TYEF. The total amount we raise will be announced the day of the event. Visit our website or see the link in our bio to book your spot!

On Saturday, May 8 from 11:00Am-12:30PM, I’ll be guiding a FREE outdoor practice session at Gay City State Park in Hebron, CT. The class will focus on preparing us for the transition in the Summer months. We’ll practice forms designed to nourish the organs and emotions associated with the Wood and Fire elements.

If you’ve been interested in trying out qigong but haven’t yet had the opportunity, this would be the perfect time to give it a go!

The event is open to all adults and accompanied teens. All experience levels are welcome. And all forms can be adapted to a variety of ability levels and mobility needs. Registration is required, so RSVP by visiting our website or following the link in our bio!

Our forest bathing experience honors that mission but is open to all who are interested.
