Doing more = success? Spoiler: it doesn't.

For the longest time, I believed the lie that doing more was the only way to succeed.

This is what I learned in school, was reinforced in corporate, and I brought this mindset with me into entrepreneurship...

Every waking moment I was thinking, planning, taking action, chasing the next idea — because I was so 👏 desperate 👏 to make it work.

It was 2019. I was still new in business as an integrative energy healer + coach, and all I wanted was to replace my corporate income and never go back to working “for the man.”

So I hustled…

✨ FB Lives (before they were cool 😅)

✨ Alllll the networking events

✨ Collabs, classes, digital products

✨ A blog, emails, workshops — the whole 9

I looked successful because I was showing up everywhere, but honestly it was a drag doing all of the heavy lifting for so few clients… it wasn’t even fun anymore...

It felt like corporate all over again — just without the paycheck and benefits (not cute).

Looking back, I wish someone had told me:

✨ All the “doing” in the world won’t matter if your energy is out of alignment.✨

Things didn’t shift until I started applying the same tools I used with clients — to my business.

It was late 2022, and something mystical happened.

It just clicked.

✅ I stopped forcing myself into someone else’s template.

✅ I tuned into my own inner guidance system.

✅ I had done the deeper work (hello, shadow work + identity shifts 🙃) and was ready to do things MY way, which of course, included nap breaks.

And eventually, I discovered there’s an even greater level of ease, freedom, and sustainability available in business — if you’re willing to claim it.

So let me offer you this, straight from my own journey…

👉 You don’t have to burn out to succeed.

👉 There is no prize for doing it the hard way.

👉 There’s no trophy for muscling through another draining launch.

If you're trying to reach new clients, is IG a space worth investing your time?

Beginning yesterday, IG posts can now show up in Google searches, which is a major SEO opportunity for you and your business. 🥳

However, it does take energy and intention to build a presence, make/nurture connections, and consistently put yourself out there and ACTUALLY SELL (ghasp)!

So, is it worth it?

My take as a business coach and mentor: unless you genuinely despise the platform for some reason, YES!

The thing is, Instagram isn't like Facebook, TT or LinkedIn, it's a completely different platform that requires its own strategy.

When done well, it's a GREAT space to reach your goals, whether that's visibility or meeting more soulmate clients.

Now let's say you get the strategy down, but things STILL aren't jiving… This is where we need to look at the energetics and mindset.

There’s a reason so many of us are craving deeper connection right now.

Let that land... your energy, in community with others, changes the freaking world.

So as we sit in this symbolic portal of Independence Day, I wonder… what if the NEW paradigm of freedom is actually INTERdependence?

Not isolation. Not burnout. Not “doing it all myself.”

But weaving a new way forward. Together.

Let’s use our businesses, our platforms, our offers, our presence — as conduits for connection, creativity, and potent AF collaboration.

Because when we lead from that place we don’t just change our lives...

We shift the entire frequency of this planet.

I love you, but please stop throwing together random workshops, 1:1s, and group programs every time inspiration strikes...

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for spontaneously following a creative urge (I am an HD Manifestor after all 🤣)

The easiest $9k I’ve ever made 👇

The #1 rule I had to follow was… There are no rules 🤯.

Imagine…

Hearing “sign me up!” on every call.

Opening your phone to messages from your soulmate clients – reaching out to join your program because they read or heard something you shared in a post/on a podcast/in an email/a class you taught.

You feel so grateful to see the signs that what you’re doing is WORKING.
