This was more than volunteering.

On March 19, our team and residents helped build The Wall That Heals—a powerful tribute honoring over 58,000 service members.

It was hot, the work was tough, and the day was long—but people showed up for each other and for something bigger than themselves.

A day of service, remembrance, and purpose.

April is Alcohol Awareness Month.

It’s a reminder that sometimes the most meaningful impact comes from simple moments—showing up, having conversations, and making support feel within reach.

At a recent CCERP event in Boyle Heights, we saw that in real time—people coming together, sharing, learning, and connecting.

That’s what prevention looks like.

Strong communities are built through partnership, collaboration, and shared purpose.

Across Social Model Recovery Systems programs, we continue to connect with providers, partners, and community organizations so that people can access the care they need, whether it’s substance use treatment, mental health support, prevention, or housing resources.

By working together, we create pathways to healing and recovery.
