🇺🇸 Honoring Juneteenth 🇺🇸

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a powerful reminder of freedom’s value and the importance of perseverance.

On June 19, 1865, Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, with news that the Civil War had ended and that all enslaved individuals were finally free—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation had been signed.

Though it took time for freedom to reach every corner of the nation, Juneteenth marks a turning point—a moment when the promise of liberty became a lived reality for many who had waited far too long.

🕊️ As we reflect today, we pause to honor the journey from bo***ge to freedom, and the ongoing pursuit of peace, dignity, and human flourishing for all.
