Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, Sept. 5 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Steven "Greg" Delaney, 49, of Savannah, TN, formerly of Covington, passed away suddenly on August 22, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 28 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in R. H. Munford Cemetery in Covington. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27 at the funeral home. Elizabeth Nix was born in Covington, Tennessee, on October 3, 1918 to Mary Elizabeth Chapman Southall and Madison Lafayette Southall. After a life lived rich in dedication to her family, work, faith and community, she passed away quietly on August 25, 2025. She was two months shy of her 107th birthday. Visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church, 2105 TN-59, Covington, TN 38019 on Thursday, August 28th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm.
