Did you know that 1 in 8 Georgians currently lacks health insurance? Free and charitable clinics like Willing Helpers Clinic are the front lines of this crisis, treating patients for just 6% to 8% of the cost of a Medicaid visit.

This "Faces of Compassion" video highlights why this network is so vital. We aren't just managing chronic conditions; we are "stepping in the gap for our friends who live in poverty" and saving Georgia taxpayers millions by reducing the burden on emergency rooms.

Your support helps us turn compassion into lifesaving treatment. Watch the video to see the impact of your generosity in action!

We are honored to be represented at this year’s GCCN Annual Meeting at Lake Lanier. Under the theme "Compassion in Action," we are joining leaders from across Georgia to tackle the challenges facing the uninsured and underinsured.

One of the highlights so far has been hearing from Dr. George Rust. His life’s work at the intersection of race, health, and poverty - and the stories of "scars and healing" in his new book - truly resonate with the mission we live out every day at Willing Helpers Clinic. 📖🩺

Coming together reminds us that we aren't doing this work alone. We are part of a massive movement of compassion across the state of Georgia! 🍑

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this year’s golf tournament such a special day.

We had a record turnout of sponsors this year, and it was incredible to see so many businesses and individuals come together to support the work happening through our clinic. That kind of partnership speaks volumes about the heart of this community.

The weather was perfect, and the course was filled with great conversations, friendly competition, and people who genuinely care about making a difference. It was more than just a day of golf. It was a reminder of what can happen when a community shows up with a shared purpose.

Thank you to every sponsor, player, and volunteer who made the day possible. Your support helps us continue providing care to those who need it most.

What does it look like when a community comes together in faith? At Willing Helpers Clinic, and through the statewide campaign, we see it every day.
Supporting our clinic is more than just medicine - it’s about the restorative power of being a "neighbor" in the truest sense. When you give or volunteer, you:
Bring healing and dignity to the uninsured.
Strengthen families and neighborhoods through compassionate care.
Offer congregants a hands-on way to live out their faith.
Build healthier, more connected communities.
Every gift and every volunteer hour is a living expression of love, mercy, and justice. We invite you to join us in this mission to ensure no one in Georgia has to face their health journey alone. Donate today at www.willinghelpersclinic.com/give. .

This weekend, we were honored to participate in a community health fair alongside the Unidos Latino Association () and Piedmont Rockdale Hospital.

One of the most meaningful parts of the day was having Bobbie Baggett PA, our physician assistant, on-site, who speaks fluent Spanish and was able to connect directly with members of the Hispanic community. Clear communication is essential to quality care, and we are grateful to have a provider who can listen, educate, and serve patients in their own language.

Opportunities like this help ensure that more individuals feel seen, understood, and supported in their health journey, and we are thankful to be part of that work in our community.

We’re grateful to partner with Hand Atlanta to provide ongoing cooking classes at our clinic, focused on simple, practical meals that support better health.

For many of our patients managing chronic conditions, access to clear, realistic nutrition guidance is just as important as medical care. Through this partnership, we are able to connect what happens in the exam room with what happens at home, where long-term health is truly shaped.

Open Hand Atlanta brings a depth of experience in nutrition education that helps turn complex health needs into everyday, sustainable habits. Together, we are working to ensure our patients are not only treated, but equipped to improve their health over time.
