The math is simple: Fresh = Flavor. 🌿🌮

Attendees at Healthier Northshore’s latest Eat Well, Live Well cooking demonstration got a tasty lesson in heart-healthy cooking on Monday, thanks to Parish Tacos co-owner Michael Leblanc and Chef Will Miles.

Held at the Samaritan Center’s kitchen classroom in Mandeville, the duo guided guests through the steps of making their flavorful (and healthy!) Grilled Shrimp Tacos with Chimichurri.

New Heights provides therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted activities that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development for individuals of all abilities.

Since 2022, St. Tammany Health System has teamed with the New Heights Therapeutic Riding Center in Folsom, where patients can benefit from hippotherapy, or therapeutic horseback riding, in addition to traditional physical therapy treatments.
