Diagnostic Imaging Services (DIS), in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, is offering low-cost procedures for women without insurance!

Our standard of care in evaluating breast health and screening for cancer is 3D mammography. However, if deemed appropriate by the clinician, DIS will perform a 2D mammogram at a fee of $99.

For each screening and diagnostic mammogram performed during the month of October, DIS will make a donation to the New Orleans chapter of the American Cancer Society.

Capitol Imaging Services is proud of our team at Southern Imaging Specialists for supporting their local referring providers!

SIS has been hard at work visiting providers, clinics, and schools that are in full swing caring for student athletes at both the high school and college levels.

They recently sponsored lunch for providers and athletic trainers during team physicals—where providers from Montgomery, Tuskegee, and Auburn University came together to ensure athletes are ready for the season ahead.

On October 20, 2024, Capitol Imaging Services' team members attended the Autumn Polo Tournament at Summergrove Farms in Folsom. CIS was a corporate sponsor at the event and helped raise funds for NAMI Southeast Louisiana. The annual event is planned by the New Orleans Polo Club.

Due to the projected path of Hurricane Francine, Capitol Imaging Services will close the following sites on Wednesday, September 11th, with plans to reopen on Thursday, September 12th:

- New Orleans Area - All Southshore and Northshore sites
- Baton Rouge - All sites
- Lafayette - Advanced Imaging of Lafayette
- Lake Charles - LA PET/CT of Lake Charles
