STPH is Covington's accredited chest pain center and is the only west St. With good teamwork, STPH ER strives to treat every patient according to each individual’s emergency need in a timely manner. All patients requesting examination and/or treatment will receive an

appropriate medical screening exam by a physician to determine if an emergency medical condition exists. Tammany Parish Hospital adjusts its system in the Emergency Department to consistently reduce wait times. In fact, the ER routinely benchmarks below the national average. Whether your visit to the ER is for a minor incident or a major infarction, our skilled staff is ready to care for you.
