The recall covers a wide range of eye drop formulas, including:

Artificial Tears
Sterile Lubricant Eye Drops
Advanced Relief Eye Drops
Dry Eye Relief Eye Drops
Redness Lubricant Eye Drops
Ultra Lubricating Eye Drops
Soothing Tears
The products were sold under a variety of packaging and store-brand labels at major pharmacy chains, including Walgreens, CVS Health, Rite Aid, Good Neighbor Pharmacy and Discount Drug Mart.

The FDA is urging consumers to check labels, lot numbers and expiration dates to see if they may have purchased any of the recalled products.

The agency flagged codes beginning with AC, AR, LT, SU, RG, RL, SY or AT as potentially affected. Most of the recalled bottles expire in May 2026 or October 2026.

More than 3 million bottles of eye drops were recalled nationwide due to sterility concerns, prompting FDA warnings for consumers to stop using them (Adobe Photo).

After four VERY long days, a flood by an AC unit, and some tears being shed 😭 when it seems impossible to get everything done. We have everything as ready as it can be for tomorrow in our new office at 107 Terrabella Bella. It is the brick building (old Bank Plus) on the left of the main entrance. We could not have accomplished this without the hard work of our amazing staff, movers, handymen, and many others. Please be patient with us as we work through issues of moving all the exam equipment/ computers. We look forward to seeing you soon!
