Today we are highlighting Tori, a Braswell's Retail Clerk for her great teamwork and the dedication she puts into every shift.

1️⃣ What inspired you to pursue a career in retail, and what do you enjoy most about your role?
I’ve always enjoyed helping people. I really like interacting with different people every day and getting to know both new and familiar faces. The best part of my role is knowing I helped someone have a good experience and leave satisfied.
2️⃣ What’s one thing you wish more people knew about the work retail clerks do?
I wish more people knew how much effort goes into the job beyond what they see. It’s not just ringing people up—we’re constantly multitasking, helping customers, keeping things organized, and making sure everything runs smoothly. It takes a lot of patience and attention to detail.
3️⃣ How do you stay motivated or centered during busy days in the store?
I stay motivated by focusing on the people I’m helping in the moment. Even on busy days, I remind myself that being kind and helpful can really make someone’s day better, and that keeps me going.
4️⃣ What’s a fun fact about you or a hobby you enjoy outside of work that might surprise people?
A hobby that I really enjoy is going to concerts. I think right now I'm currently at almost 30 different artists I have seen in concerts in the past 3 years.
5️⃣ What do you enjoy most about serving our community, and how does your work in the store help make a difference?
I enjoy being part of the community and helping people feel welcome when they come into the store. Even small things, like being friendly or helping someone find what they need, can make a difference in someone’s day, and I like knowing I’m part of that.
