🚨 BREAKING: A new audit from the TN Dept. of Commerce & Insurance exposes widespread violations by Caremark/CVS Health's PBM, including discriminatory reimbursements (paying their own affiliated pharmacies up to 16,000% more than non-affiliated pharmacies), banned spread pricing, and system failures in pharmacy appeals. When the PBM’s (the insurance company) own their own pharmacy, they should not have the ability to decide how much a competitor (ie an independent pharmacy) is paid(it’s competition), who would you pay more, your competition or yourself? That’s how billion dollar insurance companies become billion dollar insurance companies.

With approximately 400 independent pharmacies in Louisiana, many are voicing concern about "unfair" dispensing fees set by pharmacy benefit managers.
