As many of you may know already, there have been many changes over the last year for me in my professional career as a Physical Therapist. This included owning and operating my comprehensive therapy center (PT/OT/ST) for 17 years with contracts in various facilities as well as providing services for Early Steps, and offering a unique type of Suit Therapy and Intense therapy sessions for children and adults with a wide range of neurological diagnoses.

After 17 years, I am happy to still be a part of Innovative Suit Therapy and Fitness who is now owned by my coworker and dear
friend Carrie Glahn. And I am also a part of Riverbend Pediatric Therapy that offers services to children in their ABA program. Thank you to all of my friends, family, coworkers and especially my patients and their families from all over.... because I never would have been able to do this if it was not for all of you. And for my patients and families who have trusted in me to care for them over the years and to be the best that I could be!!!

Congratulations to our patient of the month Brixton! Brixton is such a hard worker in therapy and is so excited to start T-ball soon. He brings a smile to our face every week. We are so proud of you! Happy May everyone

10 YEARS AGO today when Emery was diagnosed with the childhood form of ALS he thought, "I'm going to BEAT IT!" He came to A Place of Our Own for nursing care where YOU ARE NOT ALONE and the nurses try to HEAL THE WORLD. He has made friends and enjoyed the staff and THE WAY YOU MAKE ME FEEL. Today we celebrate the MAN IN THE MIRROR!
Emery, YOU ROCK MY WORLD! Those naysayers WANNA BE STARTING SOMETHING, but it don't matter if you're BLACK OR WHITE, it's as easy as ABC to see HEAVEN CAN WAIT! Emery, DON'T STOP TILL YOU GET ENOUGH!
