On this World Lung Cancer Day, we are honored and privileged to recognize the Mauti family and the Mauti Cancer Foundation for their tremendous support of St. Tammany Health System's Breathe Well ConneCTion screening bus.

With their life-changing support, we are able to take lung cancer screenings on the road in our community, promoting early detection and quicker access to care.

Recently, a group of children from our community hosted a lemonade stand to benefit patients at St. Tammany Cancer Center - A Campus of Ochsner Medical Center.

We are so touched by their generous hearts and inspired by their spirit to help others! Our Cancer Center team even made them a thank you video! 💜

We're so thrilled for another year of partnership with Courtney and Josh Graham and the 7th Annual Falaya Float which raised more than $8,400 to support the Foundation's Autism Initiative, helping St. Tammany Health System better care for pediatric patients with autism in our community.

The St. Tammany Health Foundation Spotlight Award, affectionately known as "the Adrian" is presented annually to an exceptional friend of the Foundation. "The Adrian" is named for the Foundation's first chairman of our Board of Trustees, Dr. Adrian B. Cairns, Jr. ❤

Over the last 17 years, the Foundation has celebrated in-kind donors for their tremendous support of our organization through this award. Often, they are contributing the very goods or services that create their livelihood and pay their employees. Their generosity is even more inspiring for these reasons and this year's recipient is no exception.

The 2024 Adrian award was given to Winn Dixie at last month's annual donor recognition celebration. With store initiatives like the Community Bag program and grants from the Winn Dixie Foundation, Winn Dixie has contributed nearly $40,000 in cash donations over the years. Additionally, Winn Dixie has contributed thousands of dollars in in-kind support from cakes and bakery items for colleague events, bottled water for special events and gift cards for various programs.

Thank you to Winn Dixie for all that they do! You are a shining example of how nonprofits and local businesses come together for the shared good of the community. ❤
