Information about the Newton County Sheriff's Office 2024 holiday program.
We are thrilled to announce that applications for the 2024 Sheriff's Guardian Angels Program are officially open! All applications must be submitted by 9 p.m. on Nov. 24, 2024.

‼️ Please note: Paper applications will not be accepted this year. To ensure your application is accepted, please submit it online.
Upon acceptance, applicants will be contacted for an interview. To qualify for the program, you must provide photo Identification (guardian), birth certificate or proof of guardianship for each child, and all children must be Newton County residents and 15 years old or younger.
We are also accepting donations to support this year’s Sheriff’s Guardian Angels!
🕘 Donation Drop-Off Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
📍 Drop-Off Locations: Sheriff’s Office Headquarters: 15151 Alcovy Road, Covington; West Side Precinct: 3612 Salem Road, Covington; East Side Precinct: 5 West First Street, Mansfield
