Take a few minutes to unwind, release tension, and feel calmer this holiday season. Follow along with our favorite moves to ease shoulders, hips, back, and mind.

✨ Kneeling Twist
Improves spinal mobility while stretching the quads. Modify by kneeling on one knee and twisting toward the front leg, if needed.
✨ Cross-Legged Heart Opener
Gently opens the hips, inner thighs, and glutes while stretching the chest and shoulders to improve posture and breathing. Sit on a pillow or block if the hips, knees, or back feel tight.
✨ Spine Stretch Forward
This is not your Yoga forward fold. Sit tall with legs extended and arms reaching forward. Exhale to curl the spine forward, then inhale to stack back up one vertebra at a time, keeping abs engaged and shoulders relaxed.
✨ Straddle Stretch
Sit with legs in a wide “V” shape, keeping your torso upright or hinging forward gently. Feel a stretch through the inner thighs, hamstrings, and lower back while maintaining open hips. Option to do standing if preferred.
✨ Legs on a Chair
Lie on your back with calves resting on a chair, stacking knees over hips. Use a pillow or bolster under the lower back for extra support and a gentle opening through the front of the torso.

Mat Pilates uses your body weight, breath, and control to build deep core strength, mobility, and balance. It’s minimalist, accessible, and teaches you how to move well in your everyday life.

Reformer Pilates uses a spring-loaded machine for resistance, support, and feedback. The reformer helps you find better alignment, improve strength, and explore an endless variety of movements—great for beginners and athletes alike.

So where should you start if you’re new?

If you want to learn fundamental strength, proper form, and core connection, Mat is an amazing foundation.

If you want support + challenge with guidance from the equipment, Reformer is a fun, motivating place to start—especially in small group classes.

Truth: You can’t go wrong with either.

They work beautifully together and help you build a strong, resilient body.

If you’re curious, start where you feel the MOST excited.

And yes—doing both is the best! ✨
