Last week, Cov Ortho had a busy week that was packed with all the holiday things! From hot cocoa to holiday pajamas- our staff still manages to get the job done…even while wearing slippers! We also celebrated December birthdays with our annual ugly Christmas sweater potluck!

Cov Ortho kept tradition alive this week with our annual adoption of a senior from Forest Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation! Our team was given the challenge of adopting 42 seniors for this holiday season- CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

MUST have billing and/or coding experience, preferably in Orthopedics. Candidate must also be willing to sit for Certified Orthopedic Surgical Coordinator (COSC) exam- tuition assistance provided.
Job Duties include:
Accounts Receivable reporting
Processing and re-processing of claims
Coding of surgery, office visit, DME claims etc.
Patient account and self pay processes
Appeals, second level appeals, and medical necessity requests
Must have strong communication skills and prior orthopedic coding knowledge
