This is our extraordinary radiology technologist Gillis Dewey! The carpal tunnel view (to assess for hook of hamate fractures) is one of the hardest X-rays to perform - but not for Gillis!

Hook of hamate fractures are most often seen in baseball players and golfers. The treatment is outpatient surgery to excise the fracture.

Jules - a LSU Freshman - shadowed Dr. Sessions, Molly - a Covington High Senior - shadowed Dr. Sessions and our Medical Assistant Alieta, and Ansley - a LSU Junior - shadowed our Hand Therapist Bonnie.
