Back Pain just doesn't affect your back. It impacts your Brain!!

Back pain sustained for six months or longer is accompanied by abnormal brain chemistry, indicated by chemical changes in the area of the brain known to be important in making emotional assessments, including decision-making and for controlling social behavior. The decreased volume was related to pain duration, indicating a 1.3 cm loss of gray matter for every year of chronic pain.

Illinois did a study on patients that used a chiropractor as their primary healthcare provider. The study showed these people had a 60.2% decrease in hospital visits, 59% decrease in sick days, 62% decrease in outpatient surgeries and procedures, and an AMAZING 85% decrease in pharmaceutical costs.
