It’s hard to put into words what Therese Askew has meant to Ashton Hills. This community would not be what it is today without the years of sacrifice, leadership, and heart she invested—often behind the scenes, and often without recognition.
For nearly a decade, Therese carried this building through its highest highs and most difficult lows. She didn’t clock in and out—she showed up, fully, every day. She fought for residents when no one else was paying attention. She trained, supported, and protected her staff. She answered the late-night calls, filled in the gaps no one else saw, and made it look effortless—when it was anything but.
The lives she’s touched, the culture she built, and the standard she set will have a lasting impact, even if some will never fully realize the weight of what she carried.
She didn’t just build a team—she built a family. And while senior living won’t be the same without her, we’ll be holding out hope this is just a “see you later.”
