Many people with FM were never taught how to progress without triggering setbacks.
For sensitive nervous systems, that approach often backfires.
Real improvement comes from:
• safety
• consistency
• confidence in movement
That’s the difference between managing symptoms
and improving how your body responds.
If this kind of progress resonates, you’re not alone. Comment REALIGN if this feels like the direction you’ve been looking for.

Healing doesn’t come from forcing yourself into someone else’s plan.
It comes from honesty, awareness, and working with your nervous system instead of against it.
Sustainable healing starts when you stop asking, “What should I do?”
and start asking, “What can I consistently support?”
If this resonates, you’re not alone.
Comment REALIGN if you’re ready to work with your body — not fight it.

This isn’t about motivation.
It’s about how the nervous system works.
Fibromyalgia requires a different strategy — one that supports regulation first.
Not everything needs to be pushed through.
That’s it. Clean. Authoritative. Not repetitive.

Healing isn’t just about what you eat
or how hard you work out
or how perfectly you follow a plan.
It’s also about how you talk to your body.
When you’ve been dealing with pain, fatigue, or inflammation for a long time, it’s easy to get frustrated and start feeling like your body is working against you. I get that. I’ve been there.
But your body isn’t the enemy.
It’s doing the best it can with what it’s been given.
The Spirit part of healing — the part we don’t talk about enough — is learning when to stop forcing and start listening.
To replace pressure with patience.
To give yourself grace instead of criticism.
So today, instead of asking,
“What do I need to fix?”
try asking,
“What does my body need from me right now?”
Sometimes the answer isn’t more discipline.
Sometimes it’s rest.
Sometimes it’s kindness.
Take today to soften a little.
Healing happens there too. 💛

Fibromyalgia flare-ups rarely come out of nowhere.
They’re usually the result of nervous-system overload and inflammatory patterns that build quietly over time.
Many people with fibro are doing what they were taught:
pushing through pain, eating “healthy,” and ignoring exhaustion — not realizing those habits can actually make symptoms worse.
Which one shows up most for you right now?
1️⃣ pushing through pain
2️⃣ foods that don’t support your body
3️⃣ ignoring energy crashes

Dawn Wells Fitness

OUR STUDIO

Achieving optimal health and well-being is not a one-size-fits-all mission, look, or feel. It varies from individual to individual. Dawn Wells Fitness (DWF) combines individually-based nutrition guidance, group fitness and personal training across a variety of programs with a holistic approach to achieving health and well-being. The idea is to approach physical fitness as a fun and engaging activity that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle, not a stress-inducing chore. Our team of certified instructors and coaches are passionate about helping you get and stay excited about achieving and maintaining your personal fitness goals.

OUR MISSION

To underscore and promote the reality that looking and feeling healthy is based on the individual, and not a one-size-fits-all notion of body image, by providing group fitness with a personal training feel in a fun, safe and supportive environment.
