who has experience in critical care, Long Term Care, Personal Care, Home Health and Hospice. Alleghany Highlands Home Care is here because we care about the people in our community. We are dedicated to serving the needs of our clients each and every day. We take pride in offering a service with staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer 24/7 "on call" service with management staff and a Registered Nurse. All staff at Alleghany Highlands Home Care receive specialized training before coming into the client's home and are CPR certified. Requirements for all staff prior to the hiring process include criminal background checks through the Virginia State Police. After hire, all staff have a thorough orientation and sign an agreement for random drug testing. All staff have 12 hours of continuing education each year and are covered under liability insurance, workers comp and surety bond.
