The cancer center provides comprehensive cancer care to positively impact the lives of cancer patients and their families on the Northshore. St.

From the latest treatment modalities to integrative therapies, our center offers holistic cancer care and support. Tammany Cancer Center, a campus of Ochsner Medical Center, offers world-class cancer care close to home. Services available include radiation therapy, chemotherapy, PET CT imaging, clinical research trials, nurse navigation patient support services, community screenings and education, plus a whole new integrative therapy program to support and treat the whole person, not just the disease. The center’s multidisciplinary approach includes surgeons, medication oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists and other specialists building upon the center’s proven highly personalized approach to patient care.

The 3rd annual Power of Pearl Lung Cancer Walk & Kids’ Fun Run is happening this Saturday, November 22.
⏰ 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
📍 Covington Trailhead (419 N. New Hampshire St.)

Expect food trucks, a resource village, kids’ activities and live music by Tyler Kinchen and the Right Pieces. It’s a day of hope, movement and community support.
