Hello, I am the owner and operator of Old Covington Massage Therapy. Did you know that 5minutes of cupping equals 30minutes of deep tissue!? It also has multiple benefits like myofascial release, lymphatic movement, decompression of nerve impingements and most importantly it gets the deep work done WITHOUT all the pain of a deep tissue massage and although it might seem a bit unsettling, those marks mean healing! The healing of physical trauma that may have been stored there for years or yes even decades!

Not all marks are the same but they all tell the story of what your body has been through. I use them as a tool to help me see what is going on beneath the surface so our sessions can be more productive.
