Celebrating Progress at The Elms! 💪♥️

After a serious fall and hospitalization, 79-year-old Anthony came to The Elms needing support with walking, standing, and daily activities. Through dedicated therapy and hard work, he regained strength, balance, and independence. At discharge, Anthony was moving confidently on his own, ready to return home safely with greater mobility and confidence.

Another inspiring example of how personalized rehabilitation helps residents reclaim their independence!

Happy 105th Birthday to Millie and Christine! 🎉🎂🥳

We celebrated two incredible milestones at The Elms this month! Christine turns 105 on March 21 and Millie on March 27. Our festivities were extra special with a visit from the Mayor of Cranbury to help honor these remarkable birthdays.

Wishing Millie and Christine continued health, happiness, and joy!

Rehab Success at The Elms! 💪
When RM arrived, he needed maximum assistance and could walk just 10 feet.
Today, he’s performing daily activities more independently, transferring safely, and walking longer distances.

A Magical Outing at The Elms! 🎭

Our residents had a wonderful time seeing Alice in Wonderland at the Cranbury School. The performance brought smiles, laughter, and cherished memories for everyone!

We’re so excited to relaunch our monthly bagged lunch program! 😊

Residents and staff are coming together to donate items, assemble lunches, and give back to our neighbors through RISE Pantry.

We learned and brought the Story of Esther to life, celebrating courage, tradition, and community together. Of course, no Purim is complete without sweet hamantaschen and grape juice to share. What a beautiful day of joy and connection!

At 90 years old, Lucy was living independently and staying active. She attended weekly exercise classes and enjoyed her daily routine until a fall at home led to a broken hip and surgery at RWJ New Brunswick.

After surgery, she came to The Elms for rehab, needing help with moving, dressing, and standing. With steady therapy and determination, Lucy regained her strength and balance. By the time she was ready to go home, she was walking safely with a cane or rollator and caring for herself with minimal assistance.

Her journey is a true testament to perseverance and the power of dedicated care! ❤️
