Nurse-Annish Welcome to Nurse-Annish, your dedicated mental health education and support source, managed & curated by a passionate RN. Hello everyone!

This page is your go-to resource for deepening your understanding of mental health and discovering ways to enhance your well-being. My name is Ann-Marie Lamin-Anthony, and I'm excited to be on Facebook as Nurse-Annish. I'm a registered nurse specializing in mental health. As a mental health nurse, my goal is to help people who struggle with mental illness, trauma, addiction, and other challenges.

I see first-hand how common these issues are and how much stigma surrounds them. I want to use social media to help break down those stigmas and start meaningful conversations. On my page, I will share information about different mental health conditions, treatment options, coping strategies, and resources for support. I'll also share stories from my experiences as a nurse to give insights into recovery. My hope is that by helping to educate others, we can create more empathy and understanding. I enjoy cooking, shopping, and spending time with family when I'm not at the hospital. I'm looking forward to connecting with others as passionate as I am about mental health advocacy and community. Please message me if you have any questions or want to discuss specific topics. I'm here to help however I can. Follow Nurse Annish to stay informed and supported as you pursue better mental health. Let’s break the stigma and promote mental wellness together. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to getting to know you all better!

A 'good day' isn't a day without struggle—it’s a day where you have the tools and support to handle it.

Follow along all month as I share clinical tips, diaspora stories, and practical ways to prioritize your mind.

Gallant Minds Psychiatry recognizes that physical well-being is the foundation of mental health, and proper hydration plays a critical role in brain function. As part of our commitment to helping you build a 'Wealthy Place' for your mind, we want to highlight the connection between hydration and emotional well-being. Your brain needs water to regulate mood, concentration, and emotional stability. Proper hydration supports mental clarity and overall health, which is essential for thriving globally.

Ask yourself: “Have I had enough water today?”
Small habits like consistent hydration support brain health and emotional well-being.
