Last week was all about learning at our Curiosity Learning Fair. Throughout the week, staff and residents presented a series of Learning Lab Lectures. Our ELPI Amanda lead a discussion about bird rehabilitation which focused on her volunteer work at The Raptor Trust. Andy showed us his wonderful sculptures and took us through his creative process. Lou introduced us to the world of stamp collecting and shared some of his many beautiful treasures. Finally, Robert showed us that classical music doesn’t have to be so serious in his lecture “Music and Humor” where he presented a video of “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saens. Many thanks to all of our presenters who really opened our eyes to the world around us.
