Hi! I stumbled into the world of essential oils through a dear friend. She suggested I read the book Modern Essentials: A Contemporary Guide to the Therapeutic Use of Essential Oils. I started reading about all the wonderful things essential oils could do and I was hooked! Essential oils are so much more that pleasant smelling fragrances. They are work horses that can do anything and everything from helping with insomnia to aching muscles to depression... to....well you name it and there is an oil to help. I fell in love with mixing and blending my own concoctions and gifting them to friends and family. I soon realized that essential oils had become a passion...so I decided to go to aromatherapy school and become a certified aromatherapist. That opened a whole new world of learning to how to properly blend, dilution rates, chemical families, GC/MS reports....well, I won’t bore you with all that I learned...but it was a lot! My knowledge grew and so did my love of these precious little oils.
The other part of my journey involves Reiki healing energy. Reiki is a beautiful healing energy derived from the Universal Life force or, as I call it, God. My Reiki journey began four years ago. Also introduced to me by my dear friend. It opened a whole new world and changed my life. My spiritual life grew exponentially. In 2018 I became a Reiki Master, however, master is a misnomer, I am not a master...I am student, friend and servant. My specialty blends are imbued with Reiki energy. Reiki will bring out greatest healing components in the oils. It will make a personalized blend even more special because it has received Reiki energy with you in mind.
Little Flower was born when I fused these two passions together. The name Little Flower comes from St. Therese of Lisieux or “The Little Flower”. She believed in simplicity in her devotions and service to God. Her “little way” made a huge impact on this world. I hope that my little essential oil blends can in a small way help and improve your life.
