Hi everyone 💛 — I wanted to share a great resource that might help some of our families.
Cox has a program called Connect2Compete, which offers home internet for only $9.95 per month — and there’s no contract or hidden fees. It’s meant to make it easier for families with children in grades K–12 to stay connected for school, telehealth visits, and communication with care teams.
To qualify, you just need to have a K–12 student living in your household AND participate in ONE of the following programs:
- National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
- SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
- WIC (Women, Infants, and Children)
- TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
- Head Start
- LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program)
- Public Housing or Section 8
You may be asked to show proof of participation, but the process is simple.

I know reliable internet can make a big difference — especially for telehealth, schoolwork, and keeping your kids engaged and connected. I just wanted to be sure our Magnolia families knew this was available. 💙
