84, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at The Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Alexander “Al” and Jennie “Jay” (DiMascio) Napoletano. She was predeceased by her brother Robert “Bobby” Napoletano; also survived by her aunt Ann (DiMascio) Silvia and her husband John. Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Pitney Bowes for many years before retiring.

Carol is survived by many loving cousins, extended family and friends.

Her funeral services are private.

87, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at HopeHealth Hospice, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony R. Melillo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (DeMechele) Ravo. Delores dedicated many years as an assembler at Quill Pen, before retiring.

Known for her love of cooking, Delores took great joy in hosting Sunday dinners, particularly during the summer months by her pool, where laughter and family stories filled the air. She relished in pairing her delicious meals with a nice glass of wine, creating cherished memories for all who gathered around her table. She enjoyed time spent at the beach, Saturday night outings and trips to Atlantic City with her husband Anthony.

Delores is survived her loving children, Lorna Belanger and her husband Edward of Cranston, and Anthony J. Melillo and his wife Elena of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Petrocchi (Anthony), Nicholas Belanger (Nicole), Alison Melillo, Abigail Melillo, and Vanessa Varone. Adored great grandmother of Luca and Amelia Petrocchi. Delores was also the sister to Joann Ravo of Johnston and leaves behind her very special niece, ToniAnn Salzillo, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 31st, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Born on January 3, 1956, in Laos, Somphet lived a life grounded in family, hard work, and quiet strength. He was known for his kindness and generosity and touched the lives of many through his compassion and genuine care for others.

Somphet found great joy in helping those around him and being there for his family whenever he was needed. He proudly served his community by volunteering his time at Wat Lao Buddhovath in Smithfield, Rhode Island, where he was always willing to lend a hand and offer support without hesitation. A hardworking and dependable man, he dedicated many years as a machine operator at Nyman Manufacturing and Garelick Farms, earning the respect and admiration of all who worked alongside him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Khamfong Voravong, who shared his life and will forever cherish his memory; his daughter Viengsay Voravong and her husband, Felix Cordero, his daughter Vilay Contreras and her

husband, Harold Contreras; and his cherished grandchildren, Brayden Contreras, Nolan Contreras, and Domenec Cordero, who brought him great pride and happiness. He is also survived by his siblings, Somkeo Voravong, Chaykham Insyxiengmay, and Marisa Manithong Thipavong.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Perry Borrelli Jr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. Born in Providence, RI on September 15, 1940, to Perry and Anna Borrelli from Rome and Naples Italy. He lived a life defined by creativity, dedication, and a profound love for his family.

In his early years he was a concert bass player for the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra. He performed regularly with his father Perry Borrelli and his WJAR TV Channel 10 Orchestra. He attended Rhode Island School of Design where he perfected his talents being a master model and mold maker.

As a master model and mold maker in the fashion industry, he built a successful family business founded on exceptional craftsmanship and an unwavering commitment to his art. His talent and expertise took him around the world, where he forged lasting relationships and earned the respect and admiration of colleagues across the globe.

His work and warm personality also led him to television again, where he proudly hosted his own hour-long show on the QVC shopping network in the United States and in London, England—an accomplishment that brought his artistry into the homes and hearts of many.

Later in life he was a devoted member and usher at Saint Antony's Church in North Providence RI. He belonged to the Rosario Social club in Providence, RI where he enjoyed spending time with his friends of many years. As a hobby he raised pure white homing doves where he would release them at weddings bringing joy to newly married couples.

Beloved by all who knew him, he leaves behind his devoted wife of 66 years, Marguerite, and their three sons—Perry III (Leslie), Eric (Nicole), Christopher (Niza), and Vinny Campopiano, who was like a son to him. They will forever carry his legacy of strength, passion, and kindness. His grandchildren-Jessica Borrelli (Alex Sajche), Erika Borrelli (Michael Sujka), Christopher Borrelli Jr. (Victoria Bishop), Devin Borrelli, Stephanie Borrelli (Mario Comella) and Suzette Hernandez (Cameron Moniz). Great grandchild Marciano Sajche. In addition, his sister Mary Cappelli, Phylis Mulberry (Late Peter mulberry), and his late sister Dolores (Tony Del' Agrotto) along with his brother Paul (Lucille) and his late brother Vincent (Grace).

His presence enriched the lives of family and friends alike, and he will be remembered for his generous spirit, boundless creativity, and the love he gave so kindly. He was a devoted husband, amazing father, grandfather, great grandfather, our best friend who will be truly missed by all.

Frederick “Freddy” Mesolello, 76, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on January 21, 2026 surrounded by his loving family whom he adored. Freddy was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Sonetto) Mesolello. He was the devoted husband of 50 years to his beloved wife Janice Mesolello of Cranston. Besides his wife, Freddy leaves behind his daughter Andrea McKenna and son-in-law David of North Attleboro, his daughter Angela Melillo and son-in-law Douglas of Warwick. Freddy also leaves behind his grand-dog Alice, a great aunt, his brother-in-law, niece and nephews, along with many cherished cousins and dear friends.

He worked in jewelry sales for over 25 years. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston teams. He treasured his dogs and grand-dogs immensely, liked to travel, but most of all loved food and loved to eat!

Freddy will be deeply missed. He leaves a void that will never be filled.

77, of Smithfield passed away Friday January 9, 2026 at the VA Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Piccoli) Caparco.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late Michael and Maria (Martelino) Caparco. Michael was the Manager of Ryder Transportation where he was a truck driver, mechanic and dispatcher for many years. Michael was stationed on the DMZ during the Vietnam War.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Michael Caparco, III, and his wife Lisa, Matthew Caparco and Marcus Caparco; loving grandfather of Alexandria Lopardo, Micaela Short, Justin Caparco, Marcus Caparco and Michael Caparco, IV; loving great-grandfather of Monty Lopardo, Remy Lopardo, Wesley Lopardo and Mason Short.

He was the dear brother of Maryanne Young, Ann Root and the late Carmela Olvera, Josephine Galuses, Querino (Jerry) Ventre, John Ventre and Salvatore Ventre.

96, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Garofalo. Born in San Pedro, CA., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Doria (Curtis) Garrity. Earlier in her life, Alana achieved a nursing degree, becoming a registered nurse.

For an impressive 44 years, she was also the assistant to the Director of Catholic Cemeteries, a role she approached with great respect and diligence.

Alana was proud of her heritage, being half Native American, and actively engaged with the Indigenous People Organization Inc. She was a respected member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, where she contributed her time and talents. Known for her captivating storytelling, Alana was a fascinating person to be around; her presence and narratives brought warmth and joy to her gatherings.

Alana cherished the moments spent with her family, which included her loving children, Frank Garofalo and his wife Linda of Warwick, and Roseanne Pacific of Cranston. She was a devoted grandmother to Allan and Robert Pacific, Frank Jr., Stephen, and Marc Garofalo, and graciously welcomed 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren into her life, relishing every moment with them. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Antonetta Dougherty, and her son-in-law, Francis.

92, of Johnston, passed away Monday January 19, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Capobianco) Lombardi.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Emily (Salzillo) Lombardi, Sr.

Peter was the owner - operator of Hy-Test Oil Company for many years. Peter served the Italo American Club as a Past President, as a former Board Member, and for many years over saw all projects at the building. He was a longtime member of the Johnston Senior Center where he spearheaded the location and building of the current Johnston Senior Center. Peter also served in US Army during the Korean war.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Lisa Lombardi, Daniel Ugarte, Michael Capobianco, Donna DeCosta and the late Peter Lombardi, III; loving grandfather of Larissa Thompson, Lauren Garcia, Gino Lombardi, Joshua Lombardi, Angelina, Aria, Gianna and Elise Capobianco, Arianna DelGigante and Dante Onorato; loving great-grandfather of Ashton, Audriana, Sophia, Roman, Victoria, Amelia, Joshua Jr, and Leah.

of Saunderstown, RI, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, surrounded by those he loved most. He was 75 years young. To his family, his patients, and his community, he was a steady presence, a gentle soul, and a man whose warmth and generosity left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew him.

Born in Gudivada, Andhra Pradesh, India, and later making his home in Saunderstown, Rhode Island, Dr. Tipirneni built a life defined by service, humility, and love. Family was the center of everything he did. He was a devoted husband to Kathy, his partner in both life and adventure; together they shared a deep love of travel, exploration, and the family they built with one another. He loved his children fiercely and spoke of them often, always with light in his eyes and pride in his voice. A proud and loving father and a joyful grandfather, he was a constant source of quiet strength to those around him. He gave without hesitation—his time, his energy, and his heart—always putting the needs of others before his own.

As a solo otolaryngologist, Dr. Tipirneni served patients throughout Rhode Island with extraordinary dedication, compassion, and skill, following in the footsteps of two generations of physicians before him. He practiced medicine not as a profession, but as a calling. He continued to care for patients and perform surgery until the very end of his life, a reflection of his unwavering commitment to healing and to the community he so dearly loved. His legacy continues through his daughters and son-in-law, who carry forward his love and commitment to medicine, service, and excellence.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tipirneni found joy on the tennis court, where his competitive spirit and love of the game matched the discipline he brought to every part of his life. His infectious laughter and warm smile made every room brighter. To know him was to love him. He leaves behind a legacy of healing, generosity, and love that will live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Kathy; his daughters Dr. Kiranya Arnold (Dr. Mark Arnold) and Dr. Asha Tipirneni (Michael Sauer); his son Anil Tipirneni (Karina); his beautiful granddaughters, Sydney and Serafina; his sister Dr. Lalitha Rayan and niece Dr. Sonya Rayan; his sisters-in-law Karen Luth (Fred), Ellen Szymanski (Jim), and Gina Nabb; his brothers-in-law Kevin Nabb and Robert Nabb (Judy); and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Lakshmi-Perumallu Tipirneni and Prabhavathi Tipirneni; his brother-in-law Rick Nabb; and his sister-in-law Gail Nabb.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31st from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett, Rhode Island.

She leaves behind her niece, Anne M. Pisaturo, and her husband Frank, along with her cherished great nephews, Michael and Matthew Pisaturo.

Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Marco and Anna (Aloisio) Perri; her identical twin sister, Anna Albanese, and her husband Domenic; and her sister, Elena Perri.

62, of Johnston, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert and Carol (Rocchio) Antonelli.

Randy will be greatly missed by his beloved wife and best friend Kim (Broccoli) Antonelli, with whom he shared a rich and loving life. Together, they raised two children, Amanda Antonelli and Randy Antonelli, Jr., both of whom reside in Providence. Randy's spirit lives on in his cherished grandchildren, Jhovanny Vargas and Axel Antonelli, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.

He was the brother of Robert Antonelli, and his wife Dionne of Coventry, Michelle Antonelli of Johnston, and Dean Antonelli and his wife Dana of Johnston.

Randy dedicated many years of his life to general construction and carpentry, showcasing his skill and commitment to his craft.

Randy's interests extended beyond his profession; he found great fulfillment in spending quality time with his family, particularly his grandchildren. He was a member of the 621 Club in Providence. His love for the outdoors was evident in his passion for fishing, boating, and occasional trips to the beach, where he delighted in Quahogging and making lasting memories with his family. Randy was known not only for his generosity in helping others but also for his vibrant sense of humor that brought joy to those around him.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 29th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 5:00-8:00 p.m. Burial is kindly omitted.
