Glyn Morgan's 2024 LLS Visionary of the year campaign

As part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Visionary of the Year awards I am honored to receive the mission award for Patient Support & Education services.

LLS were actively involved during my bone marrow transplant in 2014 and featuring this pillar of services was an integral to Glyn Morgan's 2024 LLS Visionary of the year campaign.

During the campaign itself LLS provided an array of resources to make my fundraising campaign successful.

I'd like to thank Kim Denice, Elise McConeghy, Ashley Tryon, and Tara Rivard from LLS for the ideas, motivators, and guidance that helped me to raise over $18,000 for this great organization.

What a great celebration last night - the Finale Gala for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Visionary of the year awards. Thank you to my Family, Friends, and Supporters who helped me raise a total of $18,450 during my campaign!.

Blood cancer strikes at any time - in fact every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood related cancer.

Thank you to Rudy Dagostino and the The Music Complex RI for supporting my fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by donating 10% of every musical instrument or equipment sold in-store during the Month of April to raise a total of $400!!

Reminder to our North Shore and Boston Friends - Blues and BBQ: Jamming for a Cause is tonight! Come and visit us at The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint for a fantastic evening of Blues performed by top Boston area artists. Sample the delicious BBQ and Cratf beverages from the porch'e extensive menu. This is a fundraising event for my Leukemia and Lymphoma Visionary of the year campaign. What better way to enjoy great music, food and cocktails and help raise funds for finding cures for blood cancer.

It is with sadness that I have to announce the Funny4funds and Italian buffet event planned for this Sunday 28th at Fresco Restaurant in Smithfield is being postponed. I will post an update on the new date - it will likely be later in the summer or fall.

For those who have purchased tickets, they will be honored on the new date, or if you prefer, a refund can be issued.

Once again, I am sorry to have to postpone - but I look forward to setting a new time and date in the near future.
