Today is World Mental Health Day!

Mental health matters — every day, for everyone. Today, we recognize the importance of raising awareness, breaking the stigma, and ensuring access to care and resources for all.

Let’s continue to create a community where it’s okay to ask for help, to talk about what you’re going through, and to reach out for support. Together, we can make mental health a priority.

If you or someone you know needs help finding resources for mental health, please contact the Quick Response Team 24/7 Hotline at 765-401-6200.

The ABC's of safe infant sleep teach us to never use blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, crib bumpers, or loose bedding, but did you know that this also includes items that go UNDER baby? So many items NOT approved for safe sleep are on the market these days and sometimes it's hard to tell if an item poses a risk. Items such as infant sleep positioners and wedges are NOT considered safe for infant sleep. If you have concerns related to safest sleep environment for your baby, always double check with your child's doctor!

Did you know that The Milk Bank can typically accept milk that was pumped up to 9 months ago? If you have a stockpile in your freezer, don't let it go to waste because you think it's "too old." If stored properly, breast milk will last for up to 12 months in a deep freezer! As long as your stored milk is labeled with the correct dates pumped, it can very likely still be donated.

Tune in here each month, as we highlight some lesser-known facts and answer commonly asked questions about the donation process!

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a milk donor? To register visit https://www.themilkbank.org/donate-milk/

Registered donors can drop off milk donations at:

We’re grateful for opportunities like this to be out in the community and spread the word about the services we provide.
