Health care for uninsured Montgomery County Residents. VIM brings a "Culture of Caring" to the clinic.

The Dr. Mary Ludwig Free Clinic is be the fourth Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) facility in the state, joining clinics located in Bloomington, Columbus and Batesville. VIM is a national organization that promotes and supports free medical clinics that are sprinkled across the United States. Food Drive for those living in/around Crawfordsville: The Crawfordsville Democratic Party will be holding a food drive to benefit the FISH Food Pantry on Monday, November 24th from 4-7PM at the Crawfordsville Public Library. Members will accept donations of non-perishable items in the parking lot west of the library. Thanksgiving is coming, and many in our community are struggling to feed their families.

MCFC board members Julio Enríquez-Ornelas and Amy Carrington were honored guest speakers at the dedication of the Wabash Latino Community Center. Julio is the Director of Latino Partnerships at Wabash and Amy is the Student Services Coordinator/EL Director for Crawfordsville Community Schools. The mission of the LCC is to cultivate cooperation between Wabash College and the Latino community in Crawfordsville.

The Dr. Mary Ludwig Free Clinic is a Volunteer in Medicine (VIM) Clinic, open in Crawfordsville, IN since August 2013. Our mission is to provide free primary care medical and dental services to underserved and uninsured Montgomery County residents who meet our income guidelines. Additionally the Montgomery County Free Clinic, Inc. is the umbrella organization for Meals on Wheels, and Faith Alliance. Faith Alliance assists men and women without insurance to obtain mammograms and assistance with their breast cancer needs. Meals on Wheels serves homebound elderly and disabled persons with meals prepared by the hospital, and delivered to their door.
