The SAR team was paged out for a road wash out on Fall Creek Rd. Upon arrival there was an approx 40 ft gap where the road stranded 4 individuals on the other side. SAR used ropes to get the hunters safely across.

Friends of Mineral County Emergency Services (FOMCES) proudly presented a check for $130,000. to all Mineral County Emergency Services branches. This incredible donation was made possible by the success of this year’s golf tournament and appreciation dinner/auction.
This contribution marks a significant milestone, bringing the total donated by FOMCES to over $800,000!
These funds are vital for providing  our dedicated emergency responders with critical training, life-saving equipment, and capital improvements.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the businesses, ranchers, and great residents of mineral County for their generous support. Your commitment helps ensure our volunteers have the resources they need to keep our community safe.

What a night, Mineral County!! 🎉👏

Huge, thank you to the incredible volunteers who put in countless hours, the general business owners who donated, the ranchers who opened up their waters, and every donor who stepped up to support our cause.

Because of this communities heart and generosity,  our Appreciation Dinner and Fundraising Auction was a fantastic success!  While the final totals are still being tallied, we know we raised well over $200,000 to directly support emergency services here in mineral County. 🚑🚒

This is what community looks like - neighbors helping neighbors.

Jusr recently, SAR team had a late night at East Trout Creek trail hiking in and helping a hiker that got turned around and had a hard time navigating the over grown trail! Big shout and thanks to Silverhook for allowing the team to have access through their property and use of some equipment.
