The purpose of (Black Maternal Health Week) is to highlight the efforts led by Black Mamas Matter Alliance and to uplift Black-led solutions and affirm the right of Black Mamas and birthing people to safety, dignity, healing, and joy. This year’s theme, Rooted in Justice and Joy, calls for accountability, restoration, and a future where Black families can truly thrive.
