Dear Friends, Patients, and Supporters of Putnam Free Clinic,
It is with both gratitude and sadness that we write to inform you that after thirteen years of ministry, Putnam Free Clinic will be closing its doors on December 31, 2025.
Since our founding, Putnam Free Clinic has been a coalition of Christian churches sharing the healing ministry of Jesus by providing free primary medical care to the uninsured of Putnam County and the surrounding areas. During these years, we have been blessed to touch the lives of 1,279 patients, through the faithful service of volunteers who together gave more than 18,000 hours, and with a total value of medical care exceeding $1.7 million. We give thanks to God for allowing us to serve in this way.
While we had prayerfully hoped to continue this work, we now face challenges of financial sustainability, shortages of volunteers, and other organizational obstacles that cannot be overcome. Though we are saddened by this reality, we remain confident that the seeds of love, compassion, and healing planted through this ministry will continue to bear fruit in our community.
For our current patients, we want to assure you of seamless continuity of care. All patients will be referred to Aza Health Primary Care, and medical records may be requested by calling our office at (386) 269-9787.
We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the many faithful supporters who have made this ministry possible—our volunteers, prayer partners, donors, and churches. Your time, prayers, and financial support have been the lifeblood of this mission, and through you, countless lives have been touched with the healing presence of Christ.
As we bring this chapter to a close, we do so with grateful hearts, trusting in God’s perfect plan and timing. We believe that the same God who began a good work through Putnam Free Clinic will be faithful to carry it forward in new and unexpected ways.
With deep appreciation,
Daniel Jones
