Here’s our Fine Spine Team hard at work to replace the cushions on our amazing spine rehab/life-changing traction tables. I appreciate all the help today! An impossible job to do by myself.

Since these classic tables are no longer manufactured with the same materials & there is no upholstery biz within 70 miles…we had to completely DIY!

We’ve been planning to do this for 4 months & so glad it all came together finally!

FYI learned that Marine Vinyl Naugahyde is the best quality…a non ripping/fading option…which is why the 22 year old black ones still look great.

I decided on 4” foam… it’s SOOO COMFY and still firm!

We hope to get one done per week until they all are completed.

XRAY regulations will be updated to reflect current knowledge & not what was thought as true in 1927-1959.

Research shows that bracing can be very effective treatment for managing adult scoliosis. Bracing adults for over 10 years now, we have found that adults who wear their brace for several hours daily in a on/off fashion get relief. The Scolicare brace is semi-rigid and can be low-profile (low back only) or higher-profile (keeps shoulders back) and depends on what the adult needs. It is always a custom 3-D in design and manufacturing with comfort cushioning.
Adult bracing is a conservative non-surgical option and an alternative was to create stability in the aging degenerative spine. It creates stability by wrapping securely, gently lifting, and has panels for the tailbone and hips so it doesn't ride up above the low back. While it is worn it protects the back from continuous twisting/bending that accelerates degeneration which in a vicious circle causes imbalance, injuries, pain, inflammation, and more and more limits on activities.
