At Willow Falls, we believe that every individual brings something unique and meaningful to our community—and that’s something worth celebrating every single day.
In honor of Autism Awareness Month, our residents came together to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder and what it means to embrace and support individuals of all abilities. We had thoughtful conversations, shared personal experiences, and asked meaningful questions that sparked connection and understanding across our community.
One of the highlights of the day was creating our “Until All the Pieces Fit” Autism Awareness ribbons. Each ribbon served as a beautiful reminder that while every person is different, we all play an important role in making the whole picture complete. 💙
It was truly a special experience for everyone involved—filled with learning, compassion, and a deeper appreciation for the diverse world around us.

We had such a wonderful time yesterday celebrating our April birthdays here at Willow Falls! 🎉
The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe tapping as Jack Miuccio put on an incredible show featuring classic hits that had everyone singing along. There’s nothing better than great music bringing everyone together for a celebration like this!
A special thank you to our amazing dining team for creating absolutely delicious crepes as a sweet treat for the occasion. They were a huge hit! From start to finish, the afternoon was full of joy, laughter, and shared moments that make our community so special.

🎨 We channeled our inner Picasso today at Willow Falls! Residents had an absolute blast creating one-of-a-kind masterpieces with abstract marble painting and let’s just say, no two pieces were alike (just the way we like it!).
We also tried out a brand-new marble game that brought plenty of laughs and friendly competition. It was a day full of creativity, color, and fun, and our residents truly shined as the talented artists they are.

Hippity hoppity… Easter is on its way, and here at Willow Falls, we celebrated in the grandest way possible! 🌷🐰
Our community came together for a truly unforgettable Easter Buffet, and what a beautiful day it was. From the moment our doors opened, it was clear this would be something special. We had a packed house filled with smiling faces, laughter, and the warmth of residents, families, and staff all enjoying the holiday together.
The food was nothing short of amazing, with an absolutely delicious spread that had everyone coming back for seconds. The afternoon was perfectly complemented by wonderful live entertainment from Alan Gresik, whose incredible piano talents added elegance, joy, and the perfect soundtrack to our celebration.
And of course… what would Easter be without a special visit from Peter Cottontail himself? 🐇 The Easter Bunny hopped on by to spread cheer, laughter, and a little extra magic to our residents and their families, making the day even more memorable.
A huge thank you to our incredible team who made it all possible—our Dining Service Director Ernesto, Dining Room Director Lisa, and Lifestyle Director Julie—along with all of their amazing staff who worked so hard behind the scenes to bring this beautiful day together. Your dedication, teamwork, and heart truly made this event shine.

🎉 Sweet Treat Bingo was extra sweet today at Willow Falls! 🎉
We had a packed house as we welcomed students from St. Jude School New Lenox St. Jude Middle School in New Lenox, and what a wonderful visit it was! Not only did the students do a fantastic job calling bingo and assisting our residents, but they also brought along delicious homemade sweet treats to share.
As if that wasn’t enough, they also came prepared with amazing prizes for our residents to choose from, which made the day even more exciting! The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and meaningful connections between generations.
Our residents truly loved spending time with the students—and they’re already asking when they’ll be back! We can’t wait to welcome St. Jude again soon, and we hope the students had just as much fun as they brought to our community. Thank You so much for such a special day!

🍀 What a sham-rockin’ good time at Willow Falls! 🍀
Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration was filled with fun from start to finish! We kicked off the day with our “Leprechauns on the Loose” scavenger hunt, where residents had a blast tracking down over 150 mischievous leprechauns hidden throughout the community.
The fun continued with a festive and delicious holiday lunch featuring corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, and a sweet treat of Andy’s mint pie—a true St. Patrick’s Day feast!
We wrapped up the day with a fabulous St. Patrick’s Day party, complete with beer, cheese, pretzels, and of course our crowd-favorite Green River floats. A very special thank you to Sidney Brooks with Panoptic Home Health for sponsoring this refreshing treat!
The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and nonstop energy as entertainer Frank Lee had the house rocking, keeping everyone on their feet and in the spirit all afternoon long. It was truly a wonderful day for all!
