Things I want my clients to know:
I truly care about you. If I was pretending to care for a paycheck, I would charge more.
I think about you. Before you come in, after youāve left. When you have that big thing coming up. Even after youāve moved on.
I am always on your side. Messed up? Changed your mind? Letās run it again.
I am still gonna challenge you sometimes though. Youāre here to grow, right?
I am never judging you. We are all just doing our best with the tools weāve been given.
I worry about what to say too. And sometimes dumb things come out of my mouth, too. Again, weāre all doing our best.
Sometimes the horses behave badly. They have their own emotions and can also feel ours. You know what Iām gonna say- theyāre just doing their best too.
I want you to tell me what you want during your session. Asserting yourself? Love that for you.
Other times what you want doesnāt work out; see grouchy horses, above. Adaptability is a good thing to practice too.
I embrace your deleted scenes, your blooper reel, and your hidden album. Iām sick of the curated social media feeds.
I want you to reach out. I would rather you turn to me when you feel like you have no one else, than to truly have no one. Letās get you some listening ears and a horse to hug. Even though they donāt always want to put a halter on, Iāve never seen them turn away when someone needs them. š¤
