Through the years, when death visited a family, the house was often identified by a badge of flowers or light in the window. This act let their neighbors and the community know that there had been a loss within the family. Schneider - Gompf Funeral Homes, we maintain this tradition by turning our porch light on while we are caring for a member of our community.
