Tonight we tried out an egg drop kit from Scouts BSA. Everyone was given the choice of the same materials to make a contraption to hold an egg, and then we dropped them from a ladder. The leaders were going to drop them, but let’s be honest, it’s way more fun to drop your own! The scouts all did very well! Their leader cracked more eggs dropping the container than they did with their experiment! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤪 buzz words for the evening were gravity, drag, and impact.
(Not a post on ladder safety! Adults were very near the whole time, I promise!)
