You are the calm in crisis.
The voice of advocacy when families feel unheard.
The safe place when emotions feel too heavy to carry alone.

You walk alongside children and families through some of their most vulnerable moments, through diagnoses, transitions, trauma, and uncertainty, and you do it with compassion, strength, and unwavering dedication.

Your work isn’t always loud or flashy.
It’s meaningful.
It’s life changing.
It matters more than words can capture.

While March gives us a special opportunity to recognize you, the truth is we celebrate you all year long.

To our social workers at Exit 56 and to social workers everywhere, thank you for showing up, for fighting for families, and for loving people through hard seasons.

Construction on the re-envisioned Meigs Park begins March 3rd!

The redesigned park will feature fully accessible playground equipment, inclusive pathways, ADA-compliant restrooms, a shaded pavilion, quiet room, and a Miracle League field—a specially designed, rubberized baseball field that allows children of all abilities to play the game safely and comfortably.

This project is made possible through partnership with Okaloosa Board of County Commissioners.

Today we celebrated our very own pickle loving queen, Marci, turning the BIG 5-0! 🥒🎉

If you’ve ever walked through our doors, you know exactly who she is. The calm in the chaos. The one keeping everything moving.

She keeps this whole operation running with grace, humor, and just the right amount of sass. The kids love her. The parents love her. And we truly could not do this without her.

A community resale event with purpose.

Join us at 850 Therapy on March 14th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM for a one-day shopping event featuring gently loved:

• Clothing (women’s, men’s, and children’s)
• Home goods
• Shoes & accessories
• Seasonal finds
• Toys
• And more hidden treasures

Donations are being accepted through this week.
Drop-offs can be made at the clinic Monday–Thursday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

Please bring gently used items only. Items should be clean, in good condition, and ready for a second life. We are not able to accept damaged or heavily worn items.

Every purchase supports a new community initiative launching soon.

This is more than a resale event. It’s neighbors showing up for neighbors. It’s the start of something meaningful for our community.

The days can be long.
The sessions can be tough.
Progress can feel slow.

Our therapists show up every single day with patience, persistence, and a refusal to give up. They collaborate, communicate, and problem-solve. They celebrate the smallest wins as if they are the biggest victories.

They brainstorm together between sessions.
They adjust plans when something is not working.
They advocate.
They encourage.
They care.

While it may not always be simple, it is always worth it.

Because when a child says a new word,
takes a new step,
regulates instead of melting down,
or builds confidence they did not have before…

That is the moment it all makes sense!!!
