I am excited to announce I have been accepted as a candidate and will begin the certification process to become an I-ASC provider over the next few months! I am looking for families who have a loved one who is non-speaking, an unreliable speaker or minimally speaking and would like to join me on this journey!

‘Apraxia is the main reason that many nonspeakers can’t speak reliably or at all. It is the most common reason nonspeakers in our community have difficulty initiating their intended actions or maintaining momentum to follow through to completion. Nonspeakers often appear not to understand words or instructions because apraxia gets in the way. Apraxia and sensory processing, and stimuli reactions often leave nonspeakers in our community very misunderstood.’

Pen pals is kicking off this week! We will be putting the fun in fun-ctional, as we work on refining handwriting and life skills! Recommended age is 7+

* your child will make 3-4 cards
* use writing prompts (as needed) to draft short messages to 3-4 pen pals.
* learn how to address envelopes
* practice handwriting skills
*build confidence with writing

We still have room in her toddler sensory class and our 4-6 year old class tomorrow!!!!

Toddlers 2 and under meet at 9:00
This is a relaxed, free play class for your littles! Come let your littles make a mess and we will clean it up!

4-6 year olds meet at 10:30
This is a more structured class and we will play age appropriate games and activities that encourage social interaction, turn taking , sharing and teamwork!

Classes are $20 per child.

Big Feelings Little hands , meet at 10:30 am and is designed for littles 3 -5 years. This class is focused on emotional regulation. Sensory play and group play are encouraged in order to provide your little with opportunities to experience and practice managing big feelings. Sharing, turn taking and cooperative play are facilitated through sensory and carefully curated play activities.
