At West Florida Area Health Education Center, our Healthy Aging Program is all about supporting these key aspects of well-being—but just as importantly, it’s about meeting people where they are.

Healthy aging isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about taking that first step, no matter how small. Maybe it’s getting out of the house once a week, joining a Living Healthy class, trying Tai Chi for Arthritis for the first time, or simply attending a one-time seminar. Every step counts, and every beginning matters.

We believe in progress, not perfection—and in encouraging our seniors (and the loved ones who support them) to keep moving forward with confidence and compassion.

West Florida AHEC is proud to offer a variety of healthy aging classes across our four counties, and we’re always working to expand opportunities and connect seniors with even more valuable resources. 💙

Please feel free to contact healthyaging@wfahec.org or call/text 850-669-0579 for additional information on our Healthy Aging Program!
