Welcome to the 2nd Annual National Senior Citizens Appreciation Day! We have planned an exciting, fun-filled day just for you, aimed at honoring and celebrating the senior citizens who enrich our community.
National Senior Citizens Day recognizes the invaluable contributions of seniors who have positively impacted society. The foundation of our country's stability is built upon the hard work and dedication of our senior citizens, deserving of our utmost gratitude.
Our Mission at the Life Enrichment Senior Center (LESC) is to empower our seniors and to enrich their lives by creating a vibrant community where they can thrive. Through innovative and engaging programs, social connections, and wide-ranging activities, we foster well-being, promote lifelong learning, and create a sense of purpose and camaraderie that support our participants' independence and encourage their involvement in and with the broader community of Walton County and beyond.

The Life Enrichment Senior Center is a partnership between the City of DeFuniak Springs and the Walton County Board of County Commissioners, with the Center being operated by the City of DeFuniak Springs.
Our Mission at the Life Enrichment Senior Center (LESC) is to empower our seniors and to enrich their lives by creating a vibrant community where they can thrive.
