There is something absolutely magical about a butterfly landing right on your shoulder! Our Crestview residents took full advantage of a beautiful sunny day with a wonderful group visit to the STL Butterfly House. We spent the entire afternoon walking among the vibrant blooms, taking the most beautiful pictures, and sharing endless laughs. Behind every brave Veteran is an incredibly strong spouse. At Crestview, our resident Veterans wanted to express their deep gratitude by hosting a heartfelt Salute to Spouses Appreciation Party. As the ladies arrived, hosts Glen, Jerry, Shirley, Roger, and Bill warmly greeted them with thoughtful cards and remembrance pins. The afternoon was filled with sweet treats, mimosas, and a beautiful thank you toast recognizing the dedication it takes to be a military spouse. Each guest even left with a gorgeous flower bouquet. Artful Food Creations is one of our absolute favorite programs because it allows everyone to be completely young at heart! Today we spent the afternoon playing with our food and turning it into something both beautiful and incredibly delicious. Pet therapy is a wonderful and engaging addition to our life enrichment programming. āœØ We recently hosted a fantastic Yappy Hour featuring the incredible therapy dogs from Love on a Leash.

To make the event extra special, we guided residents through creating a Puppy Mojito, a dog friendly treat made with bone broth, cucumber, coconut water, mint, and a Pupperino stirrer.

Engaging in this creative culinary activity provided great sensory stimulation, while cuddling the sweet therapy pups and watching their new tricks brought immense joy to the entire room.

Dynamic, themed programming brings so much life to our community! āœØ Crestview recently hosted a Full Western Day, featuring a themed photoshoot and live square dancing instruction from Tom Murray and his dancers. It was wonderful to see residents and staff come together for a lively hoedown. The Pavilion at Camelback, our newest Assisted Living and Memory Care community, just reached a major construction milestone with the completion of the final secant pile wall. A huge thank-you to our partners at Catamount Constructors, Buesing Corp, and Vessel Architecture for helping us lay the groundwork (literally!) for whatā€™s to come.
