Safe to say the baby goats were the stars of the show 🐐

During a recent Picnic in the Park with our Spectrum sister community, Southview Assisted Living & Memory Care residents enjoyed beautiful weather, great company, and plenty of outdoor fun. But the highlight for many was meeting the park's adorable baby goats, who quickly captured everyone's attention.

Between the sunshine, laughter, and a few very cute new friends, it was a day well spent.

We made Crestview history last Friday with our largest outing crowd yet, taking two full bus trips for a day trip to Grant’s Farm.

Everyone spent the afternoon exploring at their own pace, visiting with the goats, and soaking up the great weather. We wrapped up the day hanging out in the beer garden, sharing some drinks and plenty of laughs.

Our neighborhood kitchen was absolutely bustling with energy today! 👩‍🍳 We hosted our monthly Pastry School and the whole crew gathered to tackle an amazing baking challenge: from-scratch fruit and cheese danishes. The teamwork was incredible as friends helped each other roll out the dough, layer the sweet fillings, and wait for that perfect golden bake. The room was packed with non-stop laughter, and the final tasting session was a massive hit. We completely love how this vibrant community embraces every single new adventure together!

If you are looking for a community that knows exactly how to celebrate a gorgeous spring day you have officially found the right place! We completely transformed our courtyard into a major league stadium for the Second Annual Co****le Baseball Game. The competition was incredibly fierce and Richard absolutely dominated the field with a massive streak of home runs. Between the warm pretzels fresh cotton candy and our staff stepping up as umpires and scorekeepers the afternoon was an absolute blast. Why travel to the theater when the absolute best performances come directly to your living room? We completely transformed Crestview today to welcome the phenomenal dancers from the St. Louis Dance Theatre. The room was absolutely electric as these talented performers showcased their latest routines complete with stunning wardrobe changes.

Sometimes the most impactful work we do in the senior living industry has absolutely nothing to do with standard daily operations.

This week our team at Las Palomas Senior Living experienced the true meaning of community when Assisted Living resident Ed received the surprise of a lifetime. His daughter Cathy traveled all the way from Chicago with a breathtaking plan. At seventy years old she was getting married for the very first time and her ultimate dream was to say her vows with her parents watching.

Their incredible staff immediately sprang into action to make it happen. Within a matter of hours, the team managed to secure a priest, a harpist, gorgeous floral arrangements, and a wedding cake.

The Director of Entertainment and Programming even stepped up to photograph the beautiful ceremony while the family captured video. Cathy was able to walk down the aisle with her mother's vintage brooch pinned to her bouquet, completely surrounded by love.

This spectacular afternoon was a beautiful reminder of our true purpose. We do not just manage communities, we actively facilitate life's most meaningful milestones. We are incredibly proud of our team for moving mountains to turn this impromptu dream into a stunning reality.

There is something absolutely magical about a butterfly landing right on your shoulder! Our Crestview residents took full advantage of a beautiful sunny day with a wonderful group visit to the STL Butterfly House. We spent the entire afternoon walking among the vibrant blooms, taking the most beautiful pictures, and sharing endless laughs. We truly cherish making these precious memories together and we are already looking forward to our next big adventure.
