2di 2DI was founded in 1999 to design and build electronic instruments to monitor, document, and alarm for critical conditions.

We manufacture the ThermaViewer and TV2 which show a temperature history chart as well as the current conditions on its LCD display. The ThermaViewer is used in research, industry and business to protect and comply with regulatory requirements. It is used in blood banks, doctor offices, pharmaceutical companies, warehouses, laboratories, manufacturing facilities and museums. The first ThermaViewers used digital sensors to sample temperature, which worked great for refrigerators and freezers, but wasn't accurate enough for some more-demanding-applications. More accurate sensors with accuracies of ±0.3C°, ±0.2C°, and even ±0.1C° were added in 2008 and now most types of thermocouples can also be used with the ThermaViewer display unit. In 2010 we added wireless temperature and humidity sensors for the ThermaViewers. The best thing about our ThermaViewers is that the user does not have to go to school to use it. Our customers are often non-engineers who really do not want to become engineers. We believe that for instruments to be useful they must be easy to setup and use. Our customers love the ThermaViewer because it is self-contained, stores years of temperature history, require no maintenance and cost less than the alternatives. We are located near Louisville, KY, the 16th largest city in the US, where we have access to the latest in manufacturing facilities and some of the best engineering talent available anywhere in the world. The two major universities located nearby have outstanding schools of engineering. Louisville is also the major shipping hub for UPS, so we can easily and quickly ship to anywhere in the world.
