Please provide comment on the covid shots, and urge the FDA to withdrawal these harmful products from the market, or at a minimum, remove them from the childhood schedule. They were never safe or effective.

We knew in March that school closures wouldn't work and would harm kids. In Louisville, shootings, homicides, overdoses, and suicides immediately increased. Many of the shootings were committed by juveniles (I know someone who worked for homicide at the time...someone I never saw in 2020).

We were told school closures were based on evidence—and were for our own good. Five years later, millions of children are still paying the price.

Influenza outbreak in Oldham County!!

What to expect:
*Fever
*body aches
*cough
*runny nose
*fatigue
*sneezing
*sore throat

Generally starts in chest, followed by fever and body aches, sneezing and congestion follow, feeling more like a cold. Fever will last 5 days. Evidence for tamiflu is not good. If you want to try it anyway, take it within the first 24 hours. How to get better quickly? Zinc, vitamin C, fluids, and go outside...especially today.

Expect the cough to last up to 4 weeks. If fever lasts longer than 5 days, you feel short of breath or other concerning symptoms, call the office to be seen or to talk to a clinician. Always feel free to ask to speak directly to one of us.

Paxlovid...another worthless, expensive medication.

Recently, I saw a new patient. He went to a Norton urgent care for symptoms of upper respiratory illness. They tested him for COVID & his out of pocket cost was $500...just for the test.

Had he been my patient when he got sick, I would have assessed him clinically, probably not tested, and treated aggressively if his risk factors warranted (NOT with paxlovid).
