Monday is not merely the end of the weekend or the beginning of another grueling workweek. Monday is a beacon of opportunity, a fresh canvas upon which we can paint the masterpiece of our week ahead. Instead of begrudgingly dragging ourselves out of bed on Monday morning, let us rise with purpose and enthusiasm, ready to tackle the challenges and seize the opportunities that await us. Monday is not our adversary; it is our ally, our chance to set the tone for the days to come, to plant the seeds of success and growth.

Pride never belongs in the gym so dont concern yourself with what others may think of you. Instead:

1. Get out of your comfort zone and on that weight room floor!

2. Dont worry about volume right out of the gate but rather mind:muscle connection and form.

3. And finally, get unstable! Prioritize training your core and stability FIRST. Laying that foundation before you build on it for longevity, safety, symmetry and balance.

I ran a really incredible Value Based Goal Setting session with my coaching group. The feedback was amazing! I want to take it outside of the coaching group and offer it to anyone interested in setting incredibly intentional goals for 2024. Not just goals that involve getting your ideal body or improving your finances- VALUE based goals. Goals that hit you deep, that fulfill you, that revive you. We are so conditioned by societal standards and expectations that many of the goals we set actually dont deeply resonate with us- no wonder why we dont follow through- OR dont feel that deep sense of purpose and fulfillment when we do follow through. So much wisdom in tradition guys!! In my humble opinion, science absolutely has its place and I LOVE learning what studies show on all kinds of things, but we need to lean on more than just "the science". Its getting a little ridiculous out there lately! The wisdom of our ancestors, tradition, our own innate wisdom and commen sense- these things all have an important place. Its getting a little hard to hear our own body with all the scientific facts out there screaming at us. Here, science is verifying the why behind this soaking and fermentation method, but the cool thing about this is that all our ancestors really knew- is that it just made them feel better when they did this! Thats all they needed to really know in order to do it. If it makes you feel better physically, spiritually, emotionally and mentally but you're being told (by "the science") to do the opposite thing- dont. Do what you know, internally, to be best for you! There is a reason and your body knows even if we dont yet. Don't devalue your innate wisdom just because the science says otherwise or hasn't figured it out yet.

For the LONGEST time, the bottom of the US Food Pyramid has touted grains as the thing which we should consume most abundantly...

But check this read out:
